Welcome to GES!
We are so happy to have you at our school, whether this is your first year at GES or if you have had multiple children come through this school, we are excited to have you. Our HSA takes pride in having strong parent involvement. We truly hope you consider getting involved. No matter how much or how little time you have to give; there is a place for you to be involved here at GES!
As you can see by our website, our HSA is making strides in keeping up with today's busy world. With our database and online payment options, we are making it easier for our parents to stay up-to-date! Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our site. And most importantly, please be sure to register on this site at the start of the school year so you do not miss an event!! We do not want you to miss out!!
Our Home & School Association normally meets at 7:00 pm in the GES Library. Click here for the schedule. I hope you can find the time to come to our meetings. Not only are they informative, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents, find out what is going on and what fantastic events we have coming up, but it is also an opportunity to get involved. We always have light refreshments and children are welcome to take part in our free child care.
A little about myself, This is my 5th year on the GES HSA Exec Board and my 4th year as President. I am honored to lead a group of individuals who truly believe in making the events here at our school memorable for all the students. I am the proud mother of 2, My son Jacob is has moved on to Middle School East and is in 6th Grade and my daughter Abigail is entering 4th Grade, I am actively serve on the board for the Boyertown Optimist Cheerleading and Football Programs (My husband, Mike, is the President of Boyertown Optimist Football Program). And we are also active supporters of Boyertown Wrestling and Boyertown Lacrosse programs. If I am not at my full-time job, volunteering at school or at my children’s activities, I am spending my time at home with my little family and our Guinea Pig, Tommy and Bearded Dragon, Buddy. I understand the importance of a balance and enjoying time with our families. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how you can make an impact on the lives of the children here at GES. Together we can make anything possible.
Again, we are thrilled to have your family as part of our school! By working together, I know we are going to do great things at our “little” school on Congo Road! Please feel free to pull me aside and chat if you see me at school or at any of our events, I would love to hear your ideas on what else we can do for the amazing students and faculty here at GES.
Welcome Back to School! It's going to be a great year! :)
